We use more advanced fire-resistant materials for this grill mat. It is made of fiberglass and can provide heat resistance up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. The mat also has a double-sided high-temperature resistant silicone coating, making it fireproof, waterproof, and resistant to oil. Compared to traditional rugs, our heat resistant mats have finely stitched edges and will not stick, tear, curl or crack from heat.
